Our process encourages recycling and reduces land fill, but it also showcases skill sets from bygone eras in products that are not reproduced in todays construction industry.

Our Story

We are an Australian, family owned and operated business.

Renovators Paradise began it’s life back in 1974 as Hughes Recycled Building Materials. Started by Simons’ father Ray and his brother in law they salvaged many of Melbourne’s vintage houses that were making way for high rise apartments and low density flats. Ray sensed this opportunity and embraced it. There was plenty of bounty in period houses all across Melbourne where developments were consigning them to the scrapheap.
