Amazing Marble Mantle Set

A majestic original antique marble mantelpiece, Made from Breche De St Maximin marble mined in 19th century France, Belgian black marble mined in Belgium, and some elements of slate.

This pairing exudes a luxurious grandeur with some hints of gothic elegance.

Transported to the colony by tall-ship in the mid 1800’s, then paired with a classical Victorian arched cast iron insert and gracing a high end residence in one of Melbournes more affluent suburbs until now.
